Alu-Star has been involved with horseboxes since start of our business in 1989, when the boxes were imported from Germany. We soon realized that South African conditions required something more unique, and designed and manufactured horseboxes suited to the South African market. We can vouch for structural strength and durability, corrosion resistance and mobility. Through many years of experience, we have adapted the original concept, and we believe we now offer the best horsebox for the South African market.
We now successfully leap every hurdle, from parts availability, to ease of repair and service.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
SADDLE BAR
Saddle bar can be fitted to the horsebox.
HEAD PARTITION
Stallion Bar. Aluminium head partition mounted on the center partition of the trailer.
HIGH MOUNTED TAIL LIGHTS
LED high mounted rear tail lights. The high mounted lights improve the visibility of the trailer.
SADDLE BAR & DOOR
A door can be installed on your Maximus with 2 saddle bars to store and safely transport your saddles.
GROOM SEAT & BOX
A separate area can be added in your Maximus for the groom. The box allows for storage of extra essentials that need to travel with.
GROOM BED
A groom bed can be installed. The bed can fold-away to give the full space of the box when not in use. The bed comes padded vinyl covered panels. Perfect for those long show days.
WATER TANK
Plastic water tanks with holder can be installed. The water tanks can hold 55 Liters of water. Tanks are made from durable plastic.
ALUMINIUM PADDOCK
An on board fold-out aluminium paddock can be added to your Maximus. The horsebox paddock creates extra space for horse and rider. It makes it much more convenient to station your horse outside your horsebox between rounds.
AWNING
A waterproof horsebox awning can be installed on your Maximus. The awning will help ensure that you and your horse are sheltered from the rain, as well as provide welcome shade from the harsh glare of the sun during hot summer days. Operation is quick and easily manageable for a single person.
